Things I’m Loving This Month

Sorry for the silence, it’s been a hectic couple of weeks! Time for a little round up of my favourite things at the moment.

Ahhh it’s back. Winter is coming. Dragons are destroying shit. Jon Snow is king of the North.  I’m loving it. I revisited the whole of season 6 in preparation as it was a long year since the last season aired so I was so ready for season 7 to begin. It’s been an excellent season so far, with reunions we’ve been waiting 5 seasons to see and all number of loose ends tying up.

Everything5Pounds

Lord, this website was a revelation. You know I’m always interested in finding a bargain, plus it’s a struggle to shop with an active toddler in tow, so online shopping is the way to go.

I have never bought clothes online except through Asos or Boohoo so was nervous to try a new site, but as the brand name so subtly implies, everything is £5 or less so it’s not a huge risk if it doesn’t fit.

I bought these shoes, a top which fits so perfectly I could have wept a little when I tried it on and a dress that will be perfect for Winter. All three items plus delivery came to less than £20, so I was thrilled. The shoes are so comfy and perfectly stylish, as they have pointy toes which I now realise suits me better as they make my (fairly large 6.5) feet look more dainty.

Ristorante gluten free pizzas

Another complete revelation this month while doing a quick Tesco haul  – and I can honestly say (having tried a lot of different GF pizzas) THESE ARE THE BEST. I have only tried the tomato and mozzarella so far, but I dressed it up with goats cheese and caramelised onions and it was superb. The pizza base was tasty and in no way resembled cardboard. It was light and crunchy.

So happy to have found these, and they’re only £2.50! They also do salami ones, for more meat orientated gluten free peeps.

Cbeebies

Ah my dear friend Cbeebies, you keep my wilful toddler entertained and engaged while I cook dinner, unpack shopping or sneak out for a solitary toilet break.

You make us laugh, you gently keep our daily routine in place and keep us ticking over when I run out of play-steam.

I thank you.

Method Anti-Bac All Purpose Cleaner – Wild Rhubarb

Gorgeous stuff. It smells absolutely stunning and cleans all the spills and grease spots that my kitchen amasses every hour. It’s non-toxic and made of natural, biodegradable ingredients.

So I’m still flying the flag for Method- and trying out their different products as I mentioned in my previous product post, so I look forward to trying others and keeping our home clean, fragrant and non toxic!
